A Radical way to Freedom

A radical way to freedom.

Recently I was in Taupō for a Jared Franks retreat. 30 of us met in a lovely big room with a huge logburner keeping us warm.

Emotions – allow them, open to them. A radical way to meet anxiety and any feelings.

Thoughts – allow them, let them be with no attachment. A radical way to address mental health.

Acceptance – of yourself, all parts of you, no judgement. A radical way to be with you.

Attention – where do you put your attention and what does this do for you? A radical way to inquire into how you function.

Control – how much effort do you put into controlling yourself and controlling others? A radical way to be honest with yourself.

Head versus heart – notice the tone of the voice in your head and the tone of the voice in your heart. Sense the difference.

Altogether a radical way to inquire into who you really are, to discover what is real and to be free of what is not. Opening to the mystery of truth.

Thinking causes suffering. Discover how unreliable thinking is. Discover that emotions don’t mean anything – they are energy being felt in the body. They don’t mean anything about you.

Words don’t really describe this work. It’s easy to say words and ask questions. In the Leela School of Awakening, of which Jared is a senior teacher, it is about experiencing the inquiry and what emerges. It’s not about being taught or told. You discover for yourself what is real and drop deeper into who you are.

This is the work that I do with people. I have a quiet mind, an open heart and no personal agenda. You are welcome just as you are and every part of you is accepted with no judgement. There is no right and no wrong.

I am here, in silence, in service to anyone who wants to be free.

With love,

Annette

Ps. Jared will be here in Taupō next year in May. If you want to know more, please get in touch.
